Why I’m Finally Addressing My Appearance in a Reckless Ben Documentary

Over the past several months i’ve received a number of messages about my brief appearance in the YouTube documentary titled “I caught Hollywood’s most evil movie director” by Ben Schneider (Reckless Ben), because of the way the video presents part of my involvement, I feel it’s important to clarify the timeline and explain why i’m speaking about it publicly now.

On January 12, 2024, Ben Schneider followed me on Facebook after seeing a live video where I mentioned my interest in interviewing filmmaker Lucifer Valentine. Shortly after that, Ben contacted me directly and asked if I would be willing to participate in an interview about extreme cinema and Lucifer Valentine.

I agreed to the interview.

During that conversation Ben asked questions about the genre and repeatedly asked whether I could help him get in contact with Lucifer Valentine, I explained clearly that it would not be my place to arrange that and that anyone wishing to interview him would need to contact him directly. Prior to the interview I had also asked Mr. Valentine if discussing his work publicly was acceptable, he stated yes and I asked Mr Valentine if there was a message he would like to pass over, his only request was that his privacy be respected, which is exactly what I communicated.

Months later the documentary was released, in the video, the situation appears in a way that suggests I approached Ben first regarding Lucifer Valentine. That is not accurate, Ben contacted me after following my Facebook account.

Since the documentary aired, I have attempted to contact Ben privately through Facebook and email to clarify the situation and discuss the way the interview was presented. I sent a message on April 17th 2025 asking for clarification, but I have not received a response.

I am speaking about this publicly now for two reasons.

First, I am not willing to allow a situation that affects my reputation to remain unaddressed. Some people may choose to ignore things like this, but I believe it is important to speak up when something has been misrepresented.

Second, I have received repeated questions and comments about my appearance in the documentary. Because of how the video frames my involvement, some viewers have accused me of supporting abusive behaviour. Those accusations are serious and damaging, and I cannot simply ignore them when they affect my reputation and the work I do.

For clarity: I do not support abuse, and nothing I said in the interview was intended to defend or excuse harmful behaviour. My comments were about discussing extreme cinema as a genre.

Another reason I feel comfortable addressing this is because I have nothing to gain from inventing a story., my platforms are focused on extreme cinema, whereas Ben’s content generally covers different investigative topics. I simply participated in an interview that I believed was about discussing the genre.

At this point I have attempted to resolve the situation privately and have received no response, because of that, I feel it is important to put the accurate timeline on record.

If Ben wishes to discuss the matter and clarify the situation, I remain open to doing so.

Now regarding his Patreon video, this is what Ben states in that video

"Okay, so at this point, i'm actually pretty excited. So this girl messages me, she's like, hey, I actually know Lucifer Valentine. And so i'm thinking like, oh shoot, like this is my way to like actually get to him."

First of all Ben approached me through Facebook and then emails not Instagram as we never initiated contact through instagram, second of all my username was never that short, it's always been SensoryStowers and that scribble is way too short to be my username. Third of all, that profile picture by the looks of it has never been my profile photo, my photos have always been dark colours not light like that on the screenshot.

So that's debunked right there, then he goes on to saying

"You know, i'm like, maybe like she can convince him, I can convince her to convince him to let me interview him, you know, and then I can see what this whole like Lucifer Valentine thing is. And... She was not like, that was not the message I got. Instead, she was like, hey, Lucifer Valentine knows that you're investigating him and you need to stop."

Yeah firstly, i'm going to stop Ben right there, nobody would be convincing me of doing anything and it clearly didn't work did it Ben? Then secondly, if I really did say that, then why not share it like you did with the other screenshots? because I never said that, and being a huge supporter of Mr Valentine, why on earth would I go into a interview with Ben knowing he was investigating him? I most certainly wouldn't have agreed to that interview so that's debunked again!

Then he goes on to saying

"What's really weird about this, too, is I kind of wanted this girl to be a reoccurring character in the video, like keep bringing her back and stuff, because I was like, if she's friends with Lucifer Valentine, then I want to keep bringing her back. But right after this, her account actually got deleted, her Facebook page and her Instagram. I couldn't find her anywhere. She had just a normal Facebook page with all her friends and family and stuff, and it just disappeared."

First of all, a reoccurring character? that's laughable, someone who supports a movie director going against him to feature in a documentary? that wouldn't have been me and Ben actually had my email as that's where he told me who he was, what his YouTube channel was and that's how I found out about Ben in the first place!

If Ben can show you screenshots of me saying the above, then why couldn't he share with you all the "Lucifer Valentine knows that you're investigating him and you need to stop"

Because he doesn't have them
