Exclusive Interview with Eigh8t The Chosen One

From the Japanese Guinea Pig Franchise comes the first instalment of the “American Guinea Pig Series”, Bouquet of Guts and Gore. Starring the man himself Eigh8t the Chosen One.

You may know Eigh8t as The Chosen One, The Highly Talented Rapper and Reviewer on YouTube and Facebook, or you may simply know Eigh8t as the ‘Main Actor’ in Stephen Biro’s American Guinea Pig: Bouquet of Guts and Gore.

After watching I had to ask Eigh8t some questions about his role, what it was like to work with Stephen Biro and so on, he kindly said he would. See Interview below.

Sensory Stowers: We all know you as ‘Eigh8t’ but would you let us know your real name?

Eigh8t The Chosen One: Sure, maybe it’s Frank Pickarelli, or maybe Brandon Jones, or maybe even lol! it’s one of those I promise.

Sensory Stowers: How did you get the Part in Bouquet of Guts and Gore?

Eigh8t The Chosen One: Stephen Biro gave me my break on screen. I was actually scheduled to do another film with him but things fell through on that movie for some reason. We kept in touch and he asked me later on if I wanted to be apart of his film he was directing himself. I said “YES” without question. I’ll explain why later

Sensory Stowers: When Stephen Biro give you the script, what was your immediate reaction?

Eigh8t The Chosen One: When he gave me the script I had to put it down about halfway through. It was a lot to take in on that first read honestly… It’s a pretty unforgiving script. Once I got through it though all I could think was “is this even fucking possible to do with practical fx?” I mean the whole thing was a torture fest!

Sensory Stowers: What was your reaction when he said he wanted you to play “The Actor”?

Eigh8t The Chosen One: SHOCK! The last thing I expected. I thought I was going to be some masked guy in a corner you see for like two seconds. Or maybe at most second unit. It was a lot to take in when you don’t expect it. I even repeated it a few times lol “you want ME to play The Actor?” We talked it over and he told me his reasons why he wanted me for the role and it gave me more confidence.

Sensory Stowers: How long did it take to film the movie?

Eigh8t The Chosen One: I am not sure in total how long Stephen took on everything but my role took three days, three Loooooong days! loved every minute of it too.

Sensory Stowers: What was your favourite part and/or parts to film?

Eigh8t The Chosen One: So many but as far as on screen. Scott Gabby’s line that is pure gold. Ashley’s eye flutter, Rogan’s creepy ass staring at the camera while he’s down at the edge of the bed. Those are some of my fav’s right there.

Sensory Stowers: What was the idea for the masks?

Eigh8t The Chosen One: You would have to ask Stephen on that one, not sure.

Sensory Stowers: What did it feel like to film this kind of movie?

Eigh8t The Chosen One: Exciting, creepy, a lot of pressure, fun, in my zone, and at the end a little scared.

Sensory Stowers: Would you feature or are you in a future Guinea Pig?

Eigh8t The Chosen One: I would do anything for the franchise but as far as I know I am just in this one.

Sensory Stowers: If there was anything at all you could have changed about this movie what would it be?

Eigh8t The Chosen One: I wouldn’t change 1 thing.

Sensory Stowers: What was Stephen Biro like to work with and would you work with him again?

Eigh8t The Chosen One: Do yourself a favour and read his book Hellucination. That’s why I said YES to this movie before I even read the script. I used to shop at his Unearthed table at conventions back in the day. I just considered him a cool guy & a friend. But they day he sold me that book and I read it, Holy fucking shit I respected him as an artist! So… That’s a yes. I would work with Stephen again.

Sensory Stowers: Have you seen an actual Snuff movie?

Eigh8t The Chosen One: That’s a no. 8mm & American Guinea Pig is enough for me

Sensory Stowers: What got you into Horror movies in the beginning?

Eigh8t The Chosen One: This would be whole new interview just to answer but to make it real short. VHS artwork at my local grocery store as a child.

Sensory Stowers: What are your favourite horror movies?

Eigh8t The Chosen One: Evil Dead 2, TCM, Friday the 13th pt 7, Puppet Master, JAWS, Demonic Toys are a few off the top of my head.

Sensory Stowers: Have you been in any other Unearthed Films?

Eigh8t The Chosen One: Nope, just AGP

Sensory Stowers: Last question. How many movies have you seen from Unearthed Films?

Eigh8t The Chosen One: lol I have no idea… I’ll go with A SHITLOAD! but a few of my favs are Flower Of Flesh, Where The Dead Go To Die, Aftermath Genesis, Collar, & Flowers.

Sensory Stowers: Anything else you would like to add?

Eigh8t The Chosen One: Just want to say thank you so much for having me and be on the lookout for the new film Crackbaby Billionaire I am starring in directed by John Miller. I also executive produced the soundtrack by Corey Brown which drops March 11th 2016 WORLDWIDE!!!

Sensory Stowers: I would like to thank you Eigh8t for answering my questions.
